Friday Show and Tell (and Drink)

We here at Second Glass are huge wine enthusiasts and always eager to learn more, so in the spirit of wine education we’ve expanded our weekly Friday meeting (previously focused on company projects and metrics) to include an informal wine presentation given by one member of our team. It’s an awesome way to research a favorite place or grape and share those stories, plus getting together to drink delicious wine at 5 p.m. is a hell of a way to kick off the weekend.

Introducing Boston Wine Week!

Like you, we're always looking for another excuse to drink our way through Boston. That’s why Second Glass is so proud to announce the first annual Boston Wine Week. We’ve partnered with some of the city’s best restaurants to celebrate the things we all hold dear to our hearts -  great wine, local eateries, and our fabulous home city of Boston. We’re also excited to share our new mobile site with you - head to m.secondglass.com and use it as a guide throughout Wine Week! If you’re venturing out to Boston Wine Week, pull up the site for a listing of participating restaurants. And once you're dining, use the site the easily remember your favorite wines - with just the click of a button. We have a saying here at Second Glass - drink more wine. We mean that as in “fill your glass up one more time!”, but we also want you to be adventurous and try a new wine whenever you can (and remember it on the mobile site!). Boston Wine Week gives you six nights (September 20th-26th) to get out there and try vinos you might not ordinarily splurge on - our participating restaurants have created Wine Week wine lists, with every bottle priced at $32. Each glass will only cost you $9. Tyler has been working with Babak of BiNA Osteria, as well as our awesome co-sponsors Boston Chefs, Quarterly Review of Wine and TV Dinner to put together this monster event. We’ve teamed up with restaurants like Brasserie Jo, Lala Rohk, Beehive and many more. For a full list of participating restaurants and other exciting announcements, check out www.BostonWineWeek.com. Make your reservations early and spend September 20th-26th exploring some of the best restaurants in Boston with your friends, your lover or that special potential lover.. all in celebration of handcrafted wines from around the world.
